The card has a $95 annual fee. Points can be redeemed for travel through Chase Ultimate Rewards, or they can be transferred to Chase’s travel partners, such as United Airlines, Hyatt, and Marriott. The card also offers travel insurance benefits, such as trip cancellation insurance and baggage delay insurance. A key thing to remember is that the true value of the points depend on how you redeem them. Redeeming through the Chase portal gives a fixed value. However, transferring to partners can unlock significantly more value, especially for premium cabin flights or luxury hotels. Despite its benefits, there are some downsides. If you don’t travel often or don’t maximize the travel partners, the annual fee might not be worth it. There are cards with higher rewards rates in specific categories.
